The One District One Product (ODOP) Initiative is aimed at manifesting the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India to foster balanced regional development across all districts of the country. The idea is to select, brand, and promote One Product from each District (One District – One Product) of the country for enabling holistic socioeconomic growth across all regions.
The range of the chosen products varies across the length and breadth of the country while also touching upon multiple sectors with existing clusters and communities that have already created a niche identity for themselves.
The ODOP Gift Catalogue puts the spotlight on products synonyms with the heritage of 750+ districts across India. Through the ODOP Photography Campaign, high resolution pictures of products will be chosen for the catalogue. This catalogue will be used by Ministries, Embassies, and Corporates for promoting Indian products across the globe.
As we approach the 75th Year of India’s Independence, we invite you to come forward and support Indian products and people working to make them, by sharing the best pictures of ODOP products from across the country. We encourage participants to share unique variety of select products. For example: For Papier Mache, the most innovative variety of product (fancy home décor or utility) will have a vantage point over other type of Papier Mache products.
