The Ministry of Ayush adopted 11th February, the birthday of Hakim Ajmal Khan – a versatile genius, educationist, philanthropist, freedom fighter, and pioneer of scientific research in Unani Medicine – as Unani Day in 2016. This day commemorates Hakim Ajmal Khan’s significant contributions to the growth and scientific development of Unani Medicine in India and across the globe.
To mark the celebration of Unani Day 2025, the Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), under the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with MyGov, has adopted the theme “Innovations in Unani Medicine for Innovative Health Solutions – A Way Forward” and proudly announces a poster competition based on this theme.
Objectives:
The poster competition aims to:
1. Promote awareness of the historical significance of Unani Medicine and its modern-day contributions to healthcare.
2. Encourage research and creativity among students and scholars on integrating traditional Unani knowledge with modern scientific advancements.
3. Foster critical thinking on how Unani Medicine can provide sustainable, innovative solutions to global health issues.
4. Engage youth and academicians in exploring the future trajectory of Unani Medicine in the global health ecosystem.
Contest Guidelines:
1. The digital poster/wallpaper should be at least 1024x768 resolutions with a 4:3 screen size or 1280x720 resolutions for 16:9 widescreen.
2. The designed digital poster/wallpaper should be saved as a JPEG file.
3. The description of your design should be saved as a PDF file of up to 250 words.
Gratifications:
1. First Prize: ₹8,000/- cash reward
2. Second Prize: ₹5,000/- cash reward
3. Third Prize: ₹3,000/- cash reward
