Shravanotsav 2026 Reel Competition

The Shravanotsav 2026 Reel Competition is an initiative of the Government of Gujarat, to encourage citizens, especially youth, to creatively showcase the rich cultural heritage, spiritual significance, tourism potential, folk traditions, and vibrant celebrations of Shravanotsav at Vadnagar through short video reels.

Participants are invited to create original reels highlighting various aspects of Shravanotsav and submit them through the MyGov Gujarat Portal. The competition aims to promote public participation, digital engagement, and awareness about Gujarat's cultural legacy.

Mission: To encourage active citizen participation in promoting Gujarat's cultural heritage through creative digital storytelling and increase public engagement with Shravanotsav 2026.

Vision: To establish Shravanotsav as a digitally celebrated cultural festival by inspiring youth and citizens to become ambassadors of Gujarat's rich traditions through innovative social media content.

Important Information:

1. Competition will be conducted on the MyGov India Portal.
2. Contest Duration: 02 August 2026 to 05 August 2026.
3. Winners will be announced based on the evaluation by the designated committee.

Themes / Topics of the Competition: Participants may create reels according to the following themes: Anant, Anadi Vadnagar

Technical Parameters for Submission

1. Format: MP4, AVI, or MOV
2. Resolution: Minimum 720p
3. Duration: 1 to 3 minutes
4. Language: Gujarati, Hindi, or English
   (Subtitles are mandatory if the spoken language is a regional language other than the submission language.)
5. Originality: AI-generated content or copyrighted material is not permitted.
6. The video must first be uploaded to OpenDrive or YouTube. Once uploaded, the video link can be submitted here as part of the entry submission. 
    

Gratification:

1. 1st Prize: ₹31,000/-
2. 2nd Prize: ₹21,000/-
3. 3rd Prize: ₹11,000/-
