“Setu Bharatam” is an ambitious program to ensure Railway Crossing less National Highways by 2019. In order to ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has envisaged a plan for replacement of all the Level Crossings on National Highways by ROBs/ RUBs and replacement/ widening/ strengthening of weak and narrow bridges under” Setu Bharatam”.
Under this program, a total number of 208 Level Crossings have been identified for replacement by constructing ROBs in time bound manner. In addition, approximately 1500 bridges shall also be improved by replacement/widening/ strengthening in a phased manner.
Ministry of Road Transport & Highways invites entries from the public for suggesting Logo for “Setu Bharatam”
Last date for submission of entries: 31st May, 2016.
Selected entry will be awarded cash prize of Rs. 25000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only)

This logo is for Setu Bharatam project. As per projects focus and description, here in logo dynamic S shaped highway is shown with speed arrows above.Highway is overpassing railtracks symbolizing the keypoints of project i.e. smooth, speedy and safe transport. Grey and Yellow colors showcasing its relation to road transport. Logo is simple to understand and deliver the theme.

Setu Bharatam
the first one is the main logo depicting the real essence of the project sethubharatam with the letters representing the railways and roadways functioning smoothly without bothering each other easily recognisable due to the absence of any intersection between the letters .
the second one depicts the incorporation of the main logo in the project name with an indian touch
The track goes over and under the highway that is in the form of an S
The Highways are the veins of India and the the Rail over-bridges are the bypass grafts that prevent blockage in the veins.
The logo has been designed keeping in mind the objective of Setu Bharatam. The tri-colour band over railway track represents the 'setu' on national highways. The blue colour used for text reflects stability, trust and success.
