Tableaux play a significant role in the Republic Day parade, showcasing the nation's rich cultural diversity, historical significance, and progress. The themes chosen for these tableaux are carefully curated to reflect the essence of India's journey and its aspirations.
On Republic Day, states and other agencies and ministries present their successes in different tableaux that incorporate both their history and culture as well as cutting-edge technology and equipment.
As a part of Republic Day Celebrations-2024, Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov is inviting citizens to suggest Themes for Tableaux Contest.
Technical Parameters:
1. Themes for Tableaux should be one-liners.
2. This being the 75th Republic Day it must focus on cultural roots of democratic tradition of the country and to the fact that "Bharat" is the mother of Democracy.
3. Themes may also relate to the fact that "Bharat" is the most followed democratic country in the World.
4. It should also be reflective of achievement of 75 years of our Republic.
5. The theme should be apt, relevant, and appealing. It should endeavour to drive a sense of pride & patriotism among citizens of all ages.
6. It should highlight & showcase the importance of Republic Day and imbibe an understanding of the fundamental duties one has towards the country.
Gratification:
Total 03 winners would be selected and rewarded with a cash prize of INR 10,000/- each.
