UMANG mobile app was dedicated to the nation on 23rd November 2017 by Hon’ble Prime Minister, with an objective to provide major citizen centric government services to the public in a single unified mobile app for ease of access and convenience. UMANG mobile app has been mandated to aggregate major services from Central Government, State/UT Governments and local bodies as well as from their agencies. A brief on UMANG is attached herewith.

Within a short period of its successful running, UMANG bagged 04 major awards viz., a) ‘Best m-Government service’ award at the 6th World Government Summit held at Dubai, UAE (Feb 2018, b) IDC Digital Transformation Award under Omni-Experience Innovator Category (Aug, 2018), c) Digital India Award 2018, under "Jury Choice" Category, d) National Award for e-Governance 2018-19 - Gold under Category-II, "Excellence in providing Citizen-Centric Delivery"

Currently, about 1300+ services (298 from Central, 445 from State departments, 580 from Bill payments), from 144 departments and 26 States are available on UMANG with 2+ Crore registered users.
In this regard, we invite all users of UMANG App to share their experience on how UMANG services have helped to make their life easy.
