Digital India Brief

Digital India is a Programme to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. You may know more about the initiative at http://deity.gov.in.

It is an 'Umbrella Mission' – covering many departments weaving together a large number of ideas and thoughts into a single, comprehensive vision so that each of them is seen as part of a larger goal. Many existing schemes will be restructured, re-focused and implemented in a synchronized manner with transformational process improvements.

Vision of Digital India is centered on 3 key areas:

•    Digital Infrastructure as a Utility to every citizen
•    Governance & services on demand
•    Digital empowerment of citizens

This task seeks feedback (likes & Comments) on the 24 Logos and 13 Taglines shortlisted after two contests conducted in Jan-2015 and Sep-2014.

The last date of submission is 16th February, 2015.

How to choose your favourite Logo and Tagline?

Please write Logo Number and Tagline Number in the Comment Box after clicking the ‘Do’ button. For example: If Logo- 1 and Tagline-1 is your favourite then write, ‘Logo-1’ and ‘Tagline-1’ in the Comment Box.

Terms and Conditions

i.    The task is open to all Indian Citizens residing within and outside India.
ii.    The submission, i.e. ‘number of likes’ and Comments will be placed before the Selection Committee for evaluation. The ‘number of likes’ will be used as one of the criteria for selection.  
iii.    This task has been created for wider consultation / feedback only. The Logos and Taglines, shortlisted for consultation may not necessarily be the winner of the contest.
iv.    The decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
v.    The feedback / comments on Logos and Taglines must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
