Ministry of Power has identified few key amendments in the Electricity Act 2003 to address immediate requirements of the electricity sector. Accordingly, draft proposal has been ...
customer demand automatic shutdown meter its gud idea in save energy and load line .its use household and industrial purpose no wasted energy.
I read several comments about complexity of electricity bills. Also difficulty to relate per unit rates with bill amount as there are @ 70 to 80% other charges/taxes added to power consumption charges. My suggestion is on front page of the bill at top keep one white slot & print to be paid per unit charges (Total bill amount/no of units consume). Also on the same slot print consumer no. & BU no. which is required for digital payment registration. It should be in bold & easily readable.
Hope it will be helpful to increse the use of renewable energy.

Rooftop solar system should be subsidised for coming 5 years with a specific ending date. This time period will be sufficient for standardization of tarriff related to solar system equipments + this time limit will be driving force for people to install these systems. Jhuggis and multistorey buildings should be subsidised with customisation in these systems. One strong panelty should also be decided for Defaultor for not taking disadvantage of this tarrif plan.

HENCE THE PLAN SHOULD HELP THEM THEY WILL HELP US IN THE FORM OF FOOD PRODUCTION.
WE CANNOT EXPECT THIS FROM A LARGE AND CORPORATE FARMERS.
