Sagar has been shortlisted as an aspirant in the smart cities challenge by Ministry of Urban Development. The Municipal Corporation is preparing a Smart City Proposal (SCP) that will include smart city solutions and an outline of the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders. Municipal Corporation of Sagar hereby invites suggestions from citizens of Sagar for making ‘Sagar a smart city’. The residents may post their views pertaining to municipal and city services such as water supply, electricity supply, sanitation, including solid waste management, urban mobility and public transport, affordable housing, especially for the poor, robust IT connectivity and digitalization, good governance, especially e-Governance and citizen participation, sustainable environment, safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and the elderly, health and education and others. Residents are encouraged to write the problem areas of the city as well as improvements they’d like to see for making Sagar a model smart city.

The last date to submit your comments is 11th December, 2015.

fantastic job by mayor mr. abhay dare and team.they have found 100 years old maps of corporation.now they can exicute there dreem to design sagar as a smart city.mr. dare congrats for sucsess of such a tough job

It is good that Sagar municipal corporation implemented the on line building plan approval system but system is not truly automatic as manual intervention of some staff is there that keeps the proposal pending and scope of corruption exists.There should be the time limits and provision of penalty in case of delay for the system to be really effective.
