One of the reasons behind the contamination of the Ganga has been pollution by industrial units near the Ganga. This task calls for your ideas in setting up processes whereby such pollution can be mitigated in the future.
Ban on using detergents, soap & such chemicals. The murties which are visarjit in ganga is made up of eco friendly colour. All the murties makers have to make ecofriendly murties only. The govt. deduct the 20% payment those people who does not follow above guidelines. Becoz the people give 1st peferences to money if money was deuct they didn't do this. For seeing this type of activity CCTV cameras fixed in ghats. Makes a special dustbin in every ghats for throwing flowers and agarbatti's packets.
We need to enact tough laws to protect Ganga and make it pollution free. A suggested roadmap is enclosed.
Every industry must produce effluents. How is it possible that some of them do not produce any effluents at all ?
They actually dig a borewell in the factory and dump the waste into it.
Or they manage a deep pipeline to pump the waste into drain or nearby river.
Or they pretend that the factory is not in production, thereby even claiming tax benefits.
Govt must ensure See Through Boundary walls and factory gates so that inside activities can bee seen from outside.
we have to make highly advance canal along with ganga river on the both side of city as long as river is passing through that city and all the water waste of of that city will be poured in this canal after that i will pushed to the water treatment plant ,electricity production , water restoration to hide that canl we can use green belt on the both side of river , by this we reduce the many non renewable sources also we can clean our Ganga river
Stringent Laws alone will never help.
100% Industrialists are guilty.
We must change the Process of prosecution.
No advocates should be allowed in cases pertaining to Environmental Damage. It is an unethical call.
Once reported or detected the factory must be sealed and its directors be arrested and sent to jail till the case is decided.
We must change the notion of Innocent till proved guilty in this respect.
The Director's Properties should be sold to Compensate the Labor of the Factory
National Character Building is top priority
99% Industrialists don't care about environment.
They build high boundary walls and big blind doors to secretly dump effluents into tube wells. We must enroll / register all employees in all factories as whistle blowers.
We must encourage rewards to whistle blowers who can help discover malpractices. The reward money should be credited to the whistle blower's bank account without any publicity.
Once caught, the directors of company must be punished
1- Strictly Ban polythene manufacturing.
2- Relocate factories away at certain fix distance from Ganga.
3- Every Industry must have their own solid & water waste Treatment Plant.
4- Impose Heavy penalty & closure of units if they pollute Ganga by any mean.
5- Force Industries to fulfill 10-20 % of their power requirement by solar or natural energy.
6- Force every industry to plant specific no of trees near Ganga every year and trees must be taken care to survive by that Industry.
Clean Ganga Clean Soul
alternate products, which are Eco-friendly like bamboo glass, mud plates and long service items to encourage public, gov. to support this items and the time to change all of us to save earth. every man can live with nature then you can survive and your people can survive, please think all gov. departments , gave a definition what is development. is it decrease our life span with our development. just think
Workable solution:
1) Create list of all industrial units near Ganga.
2) Study their waste, find out how to treat such waste.
3) Send notices to those industries to follow the treatment on waste and give practical achievable deadline.
4) Parallel, create website & SMS server for registering complaint of pollution by registering mobile no.
5) Publish in local paper, on display boards (at least one big board within 500 meter) about REWARD to complainant who submits the complaint.
